Urban Rethink

One of the most important aspects of an urban area is the quality of education. Our leading principle was to leave unbuilt areas free, which are rare and particularly valuable in the urban context of Pesterzsébet. We aimed to only occupy the sites of buildings to be demolished, and to build on the roofs of existing ones. Therefore, in our Pesterzsébet project, we have created a modern public education centre in the development area by merging the surrounding schools. We designed a residential development on the top of one of the old school buildings.
